Waiz vs Mindtrip

Mindtrip and Waiz both turn a conversation into an itinerary and both let your group plan together. Mindtrip builds the trip as you chat with its AI, on iOS and the web, for free. Waiz drafts the full day-by-day plan from one sentence on iOS, then keeps the whole group on that one live plan.

Where they actually differ.

WHERE THE GROUP PLANS

A group chat around the trip, or one shared plan

Mindtrip brings your group into a chat with its AI, alongside itineraries you can edit together. Waiz puts the itinerary itself at the centre: every change to the day-by-day plan syncs to the whole group in real time, and planning together is free.

HOW THE AI PLANS

Built in conversation, or drafted in one go

Mindtrip shapes the trip as you chat, place by place. Waiz’s wizard starts from one sentence about where, when and who, drafts every day at once, then reworks it as you chat. Mindtrip’s AI is free; Waiz’s AI tools are Pro, with a free trial.

WHERE IT RUNS

Web and iOS, or iOS only

Mindtrip runs in a browser as well as on iPhone, which helps if someone in the group plans from a laptop. Waiz is iOS-only today; anyone else can follow along through a shared trip link.

Bringing your trip over

There's no automatic importer. The fastest path is forwarding your booking confirmations to trips@getwaiz.com — they land on the right day by themselves — then describing the rest to the AI wizard. Booking import is a Pro feature, with a free trial.
